The Ale House is a post-war estate pub, originally called the Sheaf. The pub is a large two and single storey detached property of brick elevations beneath pitched tiled and flat roofs. The public bar features a large timber bar servery, perimeter seating and darts throw area, with approximately 40 covers in total.
