The history of the MEBOŠ production area dates back to 1946. Since then, the area has been expanded several times and the production premises have undergone significant reconstruction. At its peak, the factory employed 400 to 600 people from the surrounding area.
The production program mainly consisted in the production of electric water heaters (boilers) with a capacity of 8 litres to 200 litres, the production of tin packaging (barrels) with a capacity of 40 litres to 216 litres, the production of tools for moving bulk materials and construction mechanization (wheelbarrows, etc.). The factory also has a rich history in metalworking,
especially in the production of tools. Currently, the 100% owner of the MEBOŠ company KONS –TEAM d.o.o.. The company's production program is currently mainly focused on the production of tin barrels (the main customer is the nearby refinery in town Modriča). A smaller part of the production is made up of metalworking and the production of tools. A company for the production of plastic windows has its seat and production on the premises.
