Castle boutique hotel with views on the Dolomites

This Castle presides over the picturesque village of La Villa in Alta Badia. This Gothic building was constructed as early as 1537 and is surrounded by two impressive fortified towers. The castle was mentioned for the first time in 1536. In the middle of the 18th century, however, the building started to decay. After extensive restoration work in the last decades, the castle presents itself again as a venerable old building which is nowadays a popular venue for cultural events. The Castle currently does not operate as a Hotel and it is sold management free. There are 6 suites/apartments + restaurant + SPA + a lot of spaces. Net surface 2,197 m2. The total gross area of the castle is about 4,000 m2, of which 1,700 m2 is garden area and more 2,000 m2 outdoor area. The castle consists of 5 stories with large spaces and multiple bedrooms and suites, dining rooms, sitting rooms, a kitchen, a wellness area and, in the cellar, a wine tasting area and wine vault and a dungeon. There are apartments and living spaces also in the North-West and North East towers, with separate entrances.
