Cardiff Council has an ambitious plan to re-energise Atlantic Wharf, Butetown, Cardiff Bay. The key components of the Outline permission includes: • 890 residential dwellings (Use Class C3) • 1,090 hotel bed spaces (Use Class C1) • 19,500 sq m of Employment floorspace (Use Class B1) • 27,500 sq m of Leisure Floorspace (Use Classes D1 and D2) • 12,310 sq m of Retail Floorspace (Use Classes A1 and A3) Multi-use Indoor Arena 16,500 capacity (Use Class D2) with supporting uses and Café (Use Class A3). Subsequent Section 73 application revised to c.15,000 capacity Arena. • 182 Bed Hotel (Use Class C1) • Public Realm, Hard & Soft Landscaping; Drainage; Walking; Cycling; Car Parking plus other Transport Infrastructure
